The Sultanate of Oman participated in the annual consultative meeting of the Council of the Arab League at Foreign Ministers’ level, held on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The meeting was held as part of Arab coordination and consultations on key regional and international issues of common interest.

It discussed the latest developments in the region and a range of regional and international issues. Participants also explored ways to strengthen coordination and joint Arab action and exchanged views on matters on the agenda of the United Nations General Assembly.

Oman was represented at the meeting by Ambassador Omar Alkathiri, Oman’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York.
