Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received a phone call this evening from US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.

The Ministers discussed the latest regional developments and exchanged views on efforts to de-escalate tensions, contain their repercussions and create conditions for continued diplomatic efforts to address outstanding issues in support of regional security and stability.

The call also covered regional issues and matters of mutual interest.

On Oman-US relations, the Ministers highlighted the importance of building on existing cooperation, advancing mutual interests and maintaining consultation and coordination through communication channels between the two countries, in support of relations and efforts to strengthen security and stability at the regional and global levels.
