Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met with Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on the sidelines of the joint ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the United States, held in Manama, the capital of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, the two Ministers exchanged views and consulted on regional issues and developments. They also discussed bilateral matters within the framework of ongoing cooperation under the initiatives of the Oman Saudi Coordination Council.
They affirmed the strength of the deep rooted fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and the importance of continuing joint cooperation across various fields in a manner that serves mutual interests and advances joint Gulf action.
In a post on social media platform X Sayyid Badr said: ”A warm and constructive meeting with His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud in Manama. We exchanged views on regional developments and identified priorities for cooperation between Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in preparation for the next meeting of the Oman Saudi Joint Coordination Council later this year”.
