Jameel bin Haji bin Ismaeel Al Balushi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh participated in the “Roadmap for Trade, Growth & Economic Diplomacy, 2026” conference in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The conference was organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in cooperation with the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), and with the participation of a number of government officials, heads of diplomatic missions, representatives of international organisations and development partners.

During the conference, delegates discussed ways to strengthen trade and investment, and to activate the role of economic diplomacy in expanding areas of cooperation and supporting sustainable growth.

On the sidelines of the conference, the Ambassador met Dr Khalilur Rahman, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, Executive Chairman of BIDA. They exchanged views on a number of matters of mutual interest.
