His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and Emmanuel Macron. President of the French Republic, held a telephone call today. They discussed the latest developments in the region, as well as ongoing diplomatic efforts to bring viewpoints closer in order to support security and stability and to help ensure freedom of maritime navigation and international trade movement.

The call also addressed the cooperation and partnership between the Sultanate of Oman and France, as well as ways to enhance and develop  both across various fields.
