His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, paid a visit to the Expo area in the capital, Astana, as part of his official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the visit, His Highness Sayyid Theyazin was briefed on the most prominent economic and technological projects in the area, most notably the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) and the International Centre for Artificial Intelligence.

He received a detailed explanation of the Astana International Financial Centre’s role in enhancing the investment environment and attracting capital, as well as its contribution to the development of the financial services sector in the region.

His Highness Sayyid Theyazin also took note of the programmes and initiatives of the International Centre for Artificial Intelligence in supporting start-ups and enabling AI technologies and digital innovation.

This visit reflects the Sultanate of Oman’s commitment to strengthening its international presence, consolidating partnerships with various nations, and benefiting from global expertise in the field of international exhibitions, thereby supporting the exchange of knowledge and opening broader horizons for joint cooperation across various sectors.
