Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi took part this evening in a consultative ministerial meeting between the countries of the  Gulf Cooperation Council, the Russian Federation and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, .

During the online video conference, the Ministers exchanged views on regional and international developments linked to the US and Israeli war against the Islamic Republic of Iran and its serious repercussions for the region.

These include the targeting of vital facilities across the region, the growing humanitarian impact of the war, and its effects on the global economy due to disruptions to energy supplies and international navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.

The Ministers expressed their strong condemnation and denunciation of all attacks and the wider consequences arising from the ongoing developments of the conflict.
