Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, received a phone call from Enrique Ochoa Martinez, Mexico’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights.

The call reviewed relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance them, including cooperation and coordination through international organisations.

The two officials also exchanged views on developments in the region and their repercussions. They highlighted the importance of de-escalation and resolving disputes through peaceful means.

Mexico’s Deputy Foreign Minister praised the leading role played by Oman in mediation efforts and in addressing issues through dialogue and diplomatic channels.
