Telephone calls took place between Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi and:  Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan,; Espen Barth Eide, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway; Yvette Cooper, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom; and Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission.

The calls addressed the serious developments in the region and included an exchange of views on ways to contain the escalation.

The Ministers urged all parties to exercise restraint and to return to dialogue and diplomacy to resolve the ongoing conflict between the United States and Israel on one hand and the Islamic Republic of Iran on the other.
