Minister confirms further round of US–Iran talks

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi announced that talks between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran will resume on Thursday.

The Minister said the American–Iranian negotiations are set to be held in Geneva, Switzerland “with a positive push to go the extra mile towards finalising a deal.”

The talks began in the Sultanate of Oman at the beginning of February and later continued in Geneva under Omani auspices, making good progress in identifying shared objectives and related technical issues.
