His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador at large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam, at his residence in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei Darussalam.

During the meeting, they reviewed the political and historical relations between Oman and Brunei Darussalam. They also discussed opportunities to strengthen partnership and cooperation in a manner that serves their mutual interests.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nuamani, Minister of the Royal Office; and Oman’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi.

From Brunei, the meeting was attended by Dato Erywan, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Dato Haji Halbi, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II, who also serves as Minister Coordinator for National Security.
