The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism of the Sultanate of Oman and the Ministry of Culture of the Italian Republic signed a Memorandum of Understanding on heritage and museums during a visit to Italy by Sayyid Ibrahim bin Saeed Albusaidi Minister of Heritage and Tourism.

The visit also explored opportunities to advance cooperation, particularly in the fields of heritage, museums and archaeology.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on behalf of Oman by Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said Al Busaidi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, and on behalf of Italy by Alessandro Giuli, Minister of Culture.

The signing was attended by His Highness Sayyid Nazar Al Julanda Majid Alsaid, Oman’s Ambassador to the Italian Republic, and senior officials.
