The Board reviewed the latest developments in the Centre’s legislative, regulatory and operational framework.
It emphasised the importance of continuing efforts to enhance investment attractiveness and to create a stable and competitive business environment capable of attracting investments and international financial institutions.
The establishment of the International Financial Centre of Oman, under Royal Decree No. (8/2026), forms part of the Sultanate of Oman’s strategic approach to diversifying the national economy, enhancing its position as a global hub for financial services, attracting capital, and supporting innovation.
