His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued two Royal decrees.

Royal Decree No. 87/2026 ratifies an Amendment to the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Article (1) ratifies the amendment to the first paragraph of Article (8) of the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, promulgated by Royal Decree No. 44/2015 on ratifying the Amended Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in accordance with the formula set forth in the attached Council of Foreign Ministers’ decision No. 3/44-AT on the Frequency of Convening the Islamic Summit.

Article (2) instructs the competent authorities to deposit the document of ratification of amendment to the aforementioned Charter in accordance with its provisions.

Royal Decree No. 88/2026 ratifies the agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Rwanda on a mutual visa waiver for holders of diplomatic, private and service passports, signed in Salalah on September 8, 2026.

Article (1) ratifies the aforementioned agreement in accordance with the version attached to this decree.
