Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a telephone call with Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates of the sisterly Arabic Republic of Egypt.
The Ministers discussed the latest regional developments and diplomatic efforts aimed at containing tensions, advancing de-escalation and creating the conditions for the resumption of dialogue and broader political understandings.
They also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, foremost among them safeguarding the security and safety of maritime routes and ensuring the uninterrupted flow of trade and energy through the Strait of Hormuz and other vital international waterways.
The Ministers affirmed the importance of continuing coordination and consultation between the two countries and of supporting peaceful political solutions that contribute to strengthening security and stability across the region.
