President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan received at Akorda Presidential Palace in the capital, Astana His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs.

The President welcomed His Highness and his accompanying delegation as distinguished guests of Kazakhstan.

His Highness in turn expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the President for the warm welcome and hospitality.

Sayyid Theyazin conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the President, along with His Majesty’s best wishes of success to President Tokayev in leading the Kazakh people and in realising their aspirations for further progress and prosperity.

The President asked His Highness to convey his greetings to His Majesty, wishing him good health and well-being, and wishing the Omani people further development and prosperity.

The meeting discussed matters of mutual interest and reviewed the good relations that bind Oman and Kazakhstan.
