His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, received one by one at Al Barakah Palace the credentials of a number of Ambassadors appointed to  the Sultanate of Oman, namely:

Ahmed Mahmoud Ahmed Al Rowaidhi, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Sultanate of Oman;

Majdi Ramadan, Ambassador of the Lebanese Republic to the Sultanate of Oman;

Wijesinghe De Alwis, Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Sultanate of Oman;

Noralyn Jubaira Baja, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the Sultanate of Oman;

Adam Zakari Bagoudou, Ambassador of the Republic of Benin to the Sultanate of Oman;

Ricardo Silva Santisteban Benza, Ambassador of the Republic of Peru to the Sultanate of Oman;

Saimir Bala, Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to the Sultanate of Oman;

José Rafael Aguero Ávila, Ambassador of the Republic of Paraguay to the Sultanate of Oman;

Mohammed Sheriff Barry, Ambassador of the Republic of Sierra Leone to the Sultanate of Oman;

Dr Mukhtar Khader Abdu, Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Sultanate of Oman;

Raymond Sarsero, Ambassador of the Republic of Malta to the Sultanate of Oman;

and Isaac Biruma Ssebulime, Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda to the Sultanate of Oman

During their meetings with His Majesty the Sultan, the ambassadors conveyed greetings and best wishes of their countries’ leaders to His Majesty. They emphasized their dedication to strengthening the relations of partnership and cooperation between their respective countries and the Sultanate of Oman across various fields, in a manner that meets the joint aspirations and serve mutual interests.

On his part, His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the ambassadors, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the leaders of their countries for their greetings and kind wishes. He assured them that they would receive all the support and assistance from His Majesty, the Government, and the Omani people, thereby enabling them to carry out their tasks.

The credentials presentation ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, the Foreign Minister, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman, the Head of Royal Protocols and the Military Aides to His Majesty the Sultan.
