Oman supports unity and sovereignty of the Republic of Somalia

The Sultanate of Oman is following with interest the developments related to the unity and territorial integrity of the sisterly Federal Republic of Somalia.

Oman affirms its support for Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, while stressing the importance of respecting the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and the importance of refraining from taking any unilateral actions that may affect the unity or internationally recognised sovereignty of states.
