Oman condemns flagrant Israeli attack on Qatar

The Foreign Ministry expresses the solidarity of the Sultanate of Oman with the State of Qatar, its leadership, government and people. It strongly condemns the flagrant attack launched by Israel against Qatari territory, as well as the political assassinations and treacherous acts it carries out in blatant violation of international law and in grave breach of the sovereignty of states. These actions represent a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region and distances it from the path of peace.

Oman supports all measures taken by the State of Qatar in response to this provocative aggression, and calls on the international community to assume its moral and political responsibilities, and to exercise its legal authority to deter Israel and curb its violations of the principles of regional security and peace.
