Minister discusses regional developments with Turkish counterpart

A telephone call took place between Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi and Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye.

The call reviewed relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Türkiye and their positive development across various fields. The Ministers agreed on the importance of strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries and deepening cooperation and political consultation on regional and international issues and challenges.

In this context, the Ministers exchanged views on regional developments. They affirmed the need to support efforts that consolidate regional security and stability, promote de-escalation and adopt dialogue and diplomacy as a fundamental strategic option.
