Minister discusses cooperation with Yemeni counterpart in New York

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met Dr Shaya Mohsin Al-Zindani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Republic of Yemen, on the side lines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The Ministers affirmed the depth of the fraternal relations and historical ties between Oman and Yemen, and their support for strengthening cooperation, including the resumption of the work of the Joint Committee between the two countries. They also highlighted the need to support dialogue and diplomacy to achieve lasting peace in Yemen. A number of officials from both delegations attended the meeting.
