Under the patronage of King Maha Vajiralongkorn of the Kingdom of Thailand, Issa Abdullah Alalawi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Thailand, attended the annual ceremony marking Royal Ploughing Day and the start of the planting season at Phra Meru Ground, Sanam Luang, with wide participation from members of the diplomatic corps in Bangkok.

Ambassador Issa bin Abdullah Al-Alawi, Head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission Thailand, took part in the opening ceremony of an  event on the theme: “24 years of providing immediate, comprehensive and fair assistance to victims: because late justice is incomplete justice”. The event was organised by the Thai Ministry of Justice under the auspices of the State Prime Minister.

Ambassador Issa Bin Abdullah Al Alawi, Head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission to the Kingdom of Thailand, attended the official ceremony held under the patronage of Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of Thailand, in celebration of the anniversary of the coronation of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn, King of the Kingdom of Thailand.

The meeting reviewed relations between the two friendly countries. and discussed regional developments.

The meeting reviewed ways to enhance cooperation and addressed regional and international issues.

Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, received  Issa Alalawi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Thailand. The meeting addressed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them.

Issa bin Abdullah Alalawi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Thailand, received Major General Pong Siam Mee Khan Thong, Deputy Commissioner of the Thai Tourist Police. The meeting discussed strengthening cooperation between Oman and Thailand in the security and tourism sectors.  

The Forum reflected the keenness of the OCCI to enhance Oman’s international economic relations.

Issa Abdullah Alalawi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Thailand,  received Patrawin Chuangvisal, Chief Executive Officer of Marsun, a leading shipbuilding company. The meeting formed part of efforts to strengthen engagement with the Thai private sector.

Nasr Almaawali, Deputy Head of the Mission of the Sultanate of Oman to Thailand, and Second Secretary Ahmed Almaqbali received at the Embassy a delegation from the Thai Alliance for Global Trade and Innovation (TOGA), which specialises in innovation and knowledge exchange in international markets. The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of innovation and exchange of

The talks discussed relations between the two friendly countries in the fields of logistics, health, and energy.
