The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Manila hosted a cultural event to mark the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of the Philippines. The meeting discussed bilateral relations in relation to politics, economic matters, education and information technology.

Nasser Said Abdullah Almanwari, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of the Philippines, participated in the New Year reception organised by Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, at the Presidential Palace in Manila. During the event, the President reiterated his call to strengthen cooperation and joint efforts to achieve a brighter future.

At the invitation of the Operations Manager of VFS Global, the Acting Chargé d’Affaires of Oman’s Embassy to the Philippines visited the VFS headquarters. The meeting reviewed the services and procedures provided by the company, particularly with regard to the issue of visas and conducting necessary health checks for Filipino workers heading to GCC countries.

Nasser Said Abdullah Almanwari, Oman’s Ambassador to the Philippines took part in a diplomatic forum organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the patronage of His Excellency Enrique Manalo, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines.

Oman’s Ambassador to the Philippines, Nasser Said Abdullah Almanwari, met with Saleh Asad Saleh Mohammad, the Palestinian Ambassador to the Philippines. The meeting reviewed a number of topics of common interest.

The Deputy Head of Oman’s Mission to the Philippines met a delegation headed by Suleiman bin Saleh Al-Dakhil, Director General of the Gulf Cooperation Council’s Health Council. They discussed the health controls and requirements for bringing Filipino workers to the countries of the region.
