Daman Ould Hammar, Secretary-General of Mauritania’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation with Africa and Mauritanians Abroad, received Jassim Alsaadi, Head of Oman’s Mission in Nouakchott. The meeting discussed areas of cooperation between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them in a manner that serves the interests of the two brotherly peoples.

The meeting reviewed the friendship and cooperation between Oman and Mauritania, with an emphasis on strengthening ties.

Ambassador Jassim Alsaadi, Head of Oman’s Mission to Mauritania, took part in a meeting held by Thiam Tidjani, Minister of Minerals and Industry, with the heads of Arab diplomatic missions to Mauritania.  

The joint statement strongly condemns Benjamin Netanyahu’s remarks on the so-called “Greater Israel” as a blatant violation of international law.

Ambassador Jassim Alsaadi, Head of Oman’s Mission to Mauritania, attended the opening ceremony of the Third International Forum on Women’s Digital Empowerment. Yacoub Ould Salem Vall, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Interior, Promotion of Decentralisation and Local Development, received Jassim Alsaadi Head of the Omani Mission in Nouakchott. The meeting discussed enhancing cooperation in fields to serve the shared interests of the two brotherly countries.

The Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance joint efforts in the areas of endowments (awqaf) and religious affairs through various programmes and projects.
