The Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance joint efforts in the areas of endowments (awqaf) and religious affairs through various programmes and projects. Sidi Yahya Ould Cheikhna Ould Lemrabet, Minister of Islamic Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, received Jassim bin Eid Al Saadi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Mauritania. The meeting discussed strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation in areas of common interest.
