The message was delivered by Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi during a visit to Baghdad.

Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, President of the Republic of Iraq, Ambassador Sheikh Mahmoud bin Muhanna Alkharousi attended a cultural evening to celebrate World Arabic Language Day hosted by Ambassador Mohammed Alhassan, of the Sultanate of Oman, Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations for Iraq and Head of the United Nations

The Ministers reviewed bilateral cooperation and discussed ways to develop further ties.

The call addressed the growing bilateral relations between Oman and Iraq.

Dr Mohamed bin Awad Alhassan is currently Oman’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations,

Sayyid Badr said the attacks threaten the stability of the region and complicate efforts to find solutions.

Sayyid Badr expressed Oman’s solidarity with Iraq.

The Ministers stressed the importance of restraint and not expanding the circle of conflict.
