Oman took part in the 14th ministerial meeting of the Board of the Regional Centre for Urban Water Management, held in Iran. The Omani delegation was headed by Ambassador Sayyid Yaarub Albusaidi, Oman’s Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the Islamic Republic of Iran held a reception ceremony on the occasion of the glorious National Day. Sayyid Yaarub Albusaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Islamic Republic of Iran, delivered a speech in which he emphasised the Omani diplomatic approach based on dialogue and respect for the UN Charter

The two Ministers reviewed the positive trajectory of relations, noting the progress of cooperation.

During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed the warmest greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi attended the ceremony.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations, reflecting a shared commitment to developing cooperation and partnership.

The session reviewed relations between Oman and Iran in the political and economic fields.

The meeting discussed enhancing security cooperation by promoting collaboration.

The Minister conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His Majesty to the President and the friendly people of Iran.

Counsellor Dr Haitham  Alsanani,  met with Dr Amin Niakan, Deputy Head of Medical and Therapeutic Services in Shiraz. The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and mechanisms to develop and improve healthcare services provided to Omani citizens visiting Shiraz.

Vahid Jalal Zadeh, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, for Consular, Parliament and Iranians’ Affairs received Ibrahim Almuaini, Head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission to Iran.. The meeting discussed cooperation to strengthen relations and included an exchange of views on various issues of mutual interest.

The messages were handed over by Iran’s Ambassador to Oman.

Oman’s Foreign Minister stressed the Sultanate’s support for Egyptian efforts to stop the aggression on Gaza.

The total number of those repatriated reached 2,013, including a number of nationals from friendly and brotherly countries.

Sayyid Ammar Abdullah Sultan Albusaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Qatar, received Ali Salehabadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the State of Qatar. The two Ambassadors discussed key developments in the region and a number of issues of mutual interest.
