Ambassador Malallah Albalushi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Hungary, attended the second performance of the Omani opera “Sinbad the Sailor”, the first major Arabic opera produced by the Royal Opera House Muscat in cooperation with Müpa Concert Hall in Budapest. The opera, which reflects Oman’s rich maritime heritage, was attended by a number of Ambassadors and drew notable

László Kövér, Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly (Parliament), received Malallah Albalushi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Hungary, at the National Assembly headquarters. Within the framework of bilateral relations, both countries affirmed their commitment to continue benefiting from sharing expertise in areas of mutual interest.

László Farádi, Deputy Minister of State for Southern Relations Development at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, received Malallah Albalushi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Hungary. The meeting reviewed  bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest.

Malallah Albalushi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Hungary, took part in a regular meeting of the Council of Arab Ambassadors. The meeting was held in Budapest at the residence of Majed Al Abdan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Hungary, and was attended by the Ambassadors of Arab countries to Hungary.

Within the framework of bilateral relations, Dr Sándor Pintér, Minister of Interior, received Malallah Albalushi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Hungary. The meeting reviewed issues of mutual interest.

Ambassador Malallah Albalushi, Head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission in Hungary, took part in a regular meeting of GCC Ambassadors, held at the Embassy of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Budapest.

The meeting discussed cooperation in water resources management, climate change, pollution control and waste recycling.

The Head of the Mission of the Sultanate of Oman to Hungary, Malallah Albalushi, attended the annual reception hosted by President Tamás Sulyok for heads of accredited diplomatic missions, on the occasion of the New Year 2026. The Ambassador conveyed his sincere wishes to the President for continued health and happiness.  

László Baán, Minister of State and Director General of the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, Hungary, received Malallah Albalushi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Hungary, as part of efforts to strengthen cultural ties. During the meeting Mr Baán reviewed key features of Hungarian fine arts. They discussed ways to advance cultural cooperation and exchange

Rais Anikó, Minister of State for Environmental Policy and the Circular Economy at the Hungarian Ministry of Energy, received Ambassador Malallah Albalushi, head of Oman’s mission to Hungary. The meeting reviewed topics of mutual interest.
