His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued Royal Decree No. 4/2026 ratifies the Air Services agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, signed in Montreal on September 22, 2025. Article (1) ratifies the aforementioned agreement in accordance with the version attached to this decree. Article (2) says that this

The Decrees ratify an agreement on mutual visa exemptions with Spain and an air services agreement with Côte d’Ivoire.

Ambassador Mohammed Alkathiri, Head of Mission of the Sultanate of Oman in Senegal, presented a Royal Letter to Billon David, appointing him as  Honorary Consul of the Sultanate of Oman in Côte d’Ivoire.

The meeting explored ways to enhance economic and tourism cooperation with the private sector.
