Ambassador Mohammed Alnahdi, Head of Oman’s Mission to Cyprus, took part in a meeting of the Heads of Missions of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states in the Republic of Cyprus, held at the Embassy of the State of Qatar. The meeting was held to express solidarity and discuss matters of mutual interest.
Ambassador Jassim Alsaadi, Head of Oman’s Mission to Mauritania, attended the opening ceremony of the Third International Forum on Women’s Digital Empowerment. The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of the First Lady, the wife of the President of the Republic, and was attended by a number of senior officials and members of the diplomatic corps.
The Ministers exchanged views on developments in the Middle East and underscored the importance of de-escalation.
The Foreign Minister expressed his appreciation for the Ambassador’s efforts.
Sayyid Ammar Abdullah Sultan Albusaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Qatar, received Ali Salehabadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the State of Qatar. The two Ambassadors discussed key developments in the region and a number of issues of mutual interest.
Ahmed Ali Said Alrashidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, received the Chairman and Board Members of COYLE, the Chamber of Lankan Entrepreneurs. The Chamber includes 125 members from various sectors. During the meeting, they discussed various investment opportunities and avenues for cooperation.
The Foreign Minister expressed his appreciation and wished the Ambassador success in her future assignments.
The total number of those repatriated reached 2,013, including a number of nationals from friendly and brotherly countries.
Article (1) states that an embassy for the Sultanate of Oman shall be established in Romania. Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
The call reviewed the regional escalation, underlining the importance of safeguarding stability.
His Majesty expressed Oman’s full solidarity with Qatar.
The two leaders welcomed the announcement of the ceasefire between Iran and Israel.
On the International Day of Women in Diplomacy, the Ministry recognises the contribution of women to Oman’s diplomacy.
Fahad Sulaiman Khalaf Alkharusi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, received Mahir Binici, the Resident Representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Islamabad. During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest.
The meeting reviewed the Iranian missile strike on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, deemed a violation of Qatar’s sovereignty.
