As a child, Mana learnt the art of beekeeping from his father and inherited his passion for preserving Oman’s biodiversity and caring for its creatures. Mana learned how to look after the bees, understand their needs and behaviours, and manage the hives to produce high quality honey. Today he is a beekeeper at Dhofar Apiaries Omani Honey Production Company.

Bees’ role in pollination makes them a crucial part of maintaining balance in the natural environment. In Oman, they also form part of the country’s history and identity and are a source of pride for Mana and many others.
