Ambassador Nasser Almanwari, Ambassador of Oman to the Philippines, met with Dante “Klink” Ang, Minister of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas. The meeting discussed matters of mutual interest and ways to strengthen the relations between the two friendly countries.

Ambassador Dr Afkar Alfarsi, Head of Omani Mission in Ethiopia, met Ambassador Dawano Kadir, Director-General for Middle East, Asia & Pacific Affairs. The meeting focused on cementing relations, and expanding trade and investment cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Ambassador Sayyid Faisal Albusaidi, Head of Oman’s Mission in Bahrain, received Dr Abdullah Khamis Ambusaidi, Vice President of the Oman Olympic Committee, and the accompanying delegation. The delegation is representing those participating in the 3rd Asian Youth Games hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain.

On behalf of the Arab Group, the Sultanate of Oman affirmed before the UN Security Council the full solidarity of the Arab states with the Syrian Arab Republic and their firm support for its unity, sovereignty, and stability.
