Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Issa Alharthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, received a delegation from the parliamentary group of Germany’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU), headed by Norbert Röttgen.

The meeting discussed relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the German Federal Republic, developments in the region and issues of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by Dr Tufool bint Abdullah Aldhahab, Head of the International Trade, Knowledge Economy and Technology Department; Monica Iwersen, Germany’s Ambassador to Oman, and a number of officials from both sides.
