The Foreign Ministry informs citizens that the Republic of the Philippines implemented its electronic visa (e-Visa) system on October 5, 2026. Applications can be submitted through the following link: https://evisa.gov.ph.

Holders of approved e-Visas may present them upon arrival in either digital or printed format. No e-Visa sticker will be affixed to the passport.

The e-Visa is valid alongside the Machine Readable Visa (MRV) sticker for single entry Temporary Visitor Visas under category 9(a) and other applicable Philippine visa categories. It cannot be converted into any other type of Philippine visa and the period of stay granted under the visa cannot be extended.

The Ministry advises citizens planning to travel to the Philippines to ensure that their passports are valid for at least six months from the date of entry. It also urges all travellers to have health insurance covering the duration of their stay.

The Ministry wishes everyone a safe journey.
