His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik paid a private fraternal visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the visit, His Majesty held a meeting with Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, at His Royal Highness’s residence in Jeddah.
The meeting focused on the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two countries and explored avenues for their advancement across various sectors to serve mutual interests.
The two Leaders also exchanged views on recent developments concerning key regional and international issues, as well as potential solutions to achieve de-escalation and peace, thereby ensuring the security of states and peoples, while safeguarding their economies and interests.
The meeting was also attended by: His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Albusaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Albusaidi, Minister of Interior, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of Oman Investment Authority, Engineer Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology; Engineer Salim bin Nassir Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals; and Sayyid Najeeb bin Hilal Alubsaidi, Oman’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
The meeting was attended from Saudi Arabia by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, Minister of Energy and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources; Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region; Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dr Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, Minister of Commerce; Ahmed bin Aqeel Al Khatib, Minister of Tourism; Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics; Fahd bin Abdul Jalil Al Saif, Minister of Investment; Khalid bin Ali Al Humaidan, Chief of General Intelligence; and Ibrahim bin Saad bin Bishan, Saudi Ambassador to Oman.
His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, accompanied by senior officials, was at the forefront of those welcoming and bidding farewell to His Majesty at the Royal Pavilion of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
