His Majesty asked the Prime Minister to convey his greetings to the Emperor of Japan and his wishes for his continued health and happiness, as well as continued prosperity and development for the friendly Japanese people.

The call discussed the close bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Japan and ways to develop them to serve the common interests of the two countries and their peoples.

The call also included an exchange of views on the latest developments in the region. The Japanese Prime Minister expressed her appreciation for Oman’s efforts to support dialogue and de-escalation and promote regional and international security and stability.
