Her Highness the Honourable Lady Asayyida Aahd bint Abdullah bin Hamad Albusaidi, wife of the Sultan of Oman, extended her condolences this evening at Al Wajba Palace in the Qatari capital, Doha, on the demise of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

Upon her arrival at the condolence hall, she was received by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al Missned and Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Hamad Al Thani, wife of the Emir of the State of Qatar.

The Honourable Lady expressed her sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy on this great loss, praying to Allah the Almighty to grant the deceased His abundant mercy and forgiveness, to admit him to Paradise, and to reward him for his service to his country and nation. She also prayed that God grant the Qatari Royal Family and the brotherly Qatari people patience and solace.

The Honourable Lady was accompanied by Dr Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shianiyah, Minister of Education; Dr Laila bint Ahmed Al Najar, Minister of Social Development, and other female dignitaries.
