As part of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Dhaka’s efforts to advance economic diplomacy, Jameel bin Haji bin Ismaeel Al Balushi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, met with Mr Ashraful Haq Chowdhury, President of the Saudi–Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SABCCI), and Mr Ahmed Yusuf Walid, Vice President of the Chamber.

During the meeting they discussed ways to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and reviewed a number of initiatives and opportunities of mutual interest aimed at expanding the economic partnership between the two countries. The meeting was attended by Fathiya Ahmed Al Balushi, Minister plenipotentiary and Deputy Head of Mission.
