Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a telephone call with Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anita Anand.

The call reviewed relations between the two friendly countries and followed up on the outcomes of  the Canadian Minister’s recent visit to the Sultanate of Oman. The Ministers discussed building on the understandings reached during the visit to strengthen cooperation and political consultation, and to expand partnership across areas of mutual interest.

The Ministers also exchanged views on regional and international developments. They underscored the importance of intensifying political and diplomatic efforts and creating an environment conducive to implementing constructive understandings, in ways that reduce the causes of tension and that open broader prospects for security, stability and prosperity.
