Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, who is on an official visit to Oman.
The meeting reviewed relations between the two friendly countries. The Ministers also discussed the growing trade and investment cooperation between Oman and Thailand. They also explored cooperation in the tourism sector and discussed promising opportunities to enhance collaboration in diplomatic training.
They also exchanged views on recent developments in the region and their impact on international peace and security. They noted the importance of building on the US Iran ceasefire agreement and working towards sustainable solutions through peaceful means.
The visiting Minister expressed his country’s appreciation for Oman’s diplomatic and humanitarian efforts. He also commended its recognised role in supporting regional and international stability.
The meeting was attended from Oman by Ambassador at large Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Alhinai; Sheikh Humaid Almaani, Head of the Diplomatic Academy, Ambassador Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Alhosni, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department. The meeting was also attended by Warunee Pan Krajang, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Oman.
