The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Tajikistan held the third session of political consultations between their Foreign Ministries.

The Omani delegation was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, while the Tajik delegation was headed by Sharifzoda Farrukh Homiddin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The consultations, reviewed existing cooperation and ways to strengthen and develop it across various fields, particularly the economic, investment, trade, scientific and cultural sectors.

It also discussed ways to promote joint investment and boost trade, serving the shared interests of both countries and their peoples.

The two delegations also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest.
