Tajik Prime Minister receives Political Undersecretary

Kokhir Rasulzoda, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, received Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, during his visit to the Tajik capital, Dushanbe, to participate in a meeting of the Political Consultations Committee between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Tajikistan.

The meeting reviewed relations and discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation across various fields.

Sheikh Khalifa conveyed the greetings of the Government of Oman to the Prime Minister and expressed its appreciation to the Government of Tajikistan for opening its Embassy in Muscat, a step that supports relations and strengthens communication and cooperation between the two countries.

The Prime Minister expressed his Government’s appreciation for Oman’s role and standing, and affirmed Tajikistan’s interest in deepening cooperation and exploring new areas to strengthen and broaden the partnership.

The meeting was attended by Sharifzoda Farrukh Homiddin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan; Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda Najot, Ambassador of Tajikistan to the Sultanate of Oman, and officials from the Foreign Ministries of both countries.
