His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a written message to Guy Parmelin, President of the Swiss Confederation, concerning relations between the two friendly countries.

The message was delivered by Mahmoud Alhasani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Swiss Confederation  during a meeting with Ignazio Cassis, Vice President of the Swiss Federal Council and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, at the headquarters of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs in Bern.

During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to Guy Parmelin, President of the Swiss Confederation, wishing him continued good health and happiness, and the friendly Swiss people further progress and prosperity.

In turn, Vice President of the Swiss Federal Council and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, requested the Ambassador to convey the greetings of the President, to His Majesty The Sultan, along with his best wishes for His Majesty and the Omani people for continued progress and prosperity.
