As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation in the health sector, Ambassador Engineer Jamal bin Salem Al Shanfari participated in a field visit to Geneva University Hospital (HUG), in the presence of the Swiss Ambassador and the hospital’s Director General.

The visit reviewed advanced practices in managing health systems and addressed priorities related to digital transformation and enhancing the readiness of health systems.

The visit was organised in coordination with the Sultanate of Oman’s Permanent Mission in Geneva and was attended by representatives of diplomatic missions concerned with health affairs. The aim was to support the exchange of expertise and contribute to the development of health systems.
