The Sultanate of Oman participated in the tenth  Dakar International Forum on Peace and Security in Africa, which opened today in the Senegalese capital, Dakar, under the patronage of President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, with the participation heads of state, ministers and representatives of countries.

Oman’s delegation was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs.

The forum discussed a range of international issues, particularly those related to the African continent and its current and future challenges. It considered ways to address these challenges, while highlighting the importance of promoting dialogue and strengthening multilateralism.
