His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a telephone call from Dr Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of the Federal Republic of Germany.

During the call, they discussed the escalating military operations in the region and their repercussions on the security and stability of nations.

The German President expressed his condemnation of the attacks targeting the Sultanate of Oman, the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and other countries in the region. Both leaders emphasised the importance of ending the conflict and called upon the warring parties to abide by international law and return to the diplomatic process, thereby contributing to the preservation of national sovereignty and the strengthening of security and stability in the region.
