In light of the current developments in the region, the Foreign Ministry, in coordination with the relevant authorities in the Sultanate of Oman, is continuing to implement arrangements to facilitate the repatriation of Omani citizens.

In this context, a group of citizens arrived in Oman today Friday after their transfer from the Islamic Republic of Iran. The repatriation operation, which was organised in coordination with Oman’s embassies in Tehran and Ankara, as well as the relevant authorities in the Republic of Azerbaijan, was carried out through organised land and air transit arrangements that ensured a safe, smooth journey.

Groups of citizens arriving from countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council also reached Oman safely through land border crossings.

The Ministry is continuing its efforts around the clock, in coordination with the relevant authorities and Omani embassies abroad, to facilitate the gradual return of citizens in a secure and safe manner.
