His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a telephone call today from Pedro Sanchez, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain.

The call addressed developments in the region following the Israeli American attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran and their repercussions on countries in the region and the wider world.

The two leaders affirmed the need to intensify regional and international efforts to bring the ongoing conflict to an end, to halt escalation and to return to dialogue and peaceful means of resolving disputes, in order to safeguard the resources and sovereignty of states and to ensure the safety of their peoples.
