The first session of political consultations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Arab Republic of Egypt was held at the Foreign Ministry.

Ambassador Sheikh Faisal Almarhoon, Head of the Ministry’s Arab Department led the Omani delegation, while Ambassador Ehab Fahmy, Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs, led the Egyptian delegation.

The session reviewed cooperation and ways to enhance it. The delegations also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
