Ambassador Idris bin Abdulrahman Al-Khanjari, Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations and International Organisations in Geneva, received Pamela Coke-Hamilton, Executive Director of the International Trade Centre.
The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation within the framework of the agreement signed between the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, represented by “Oman Exports” and the International Trade Centre. The agreement contributes to supporting national exports and enhancing the competitiveness of Omani enterprises.
The Ambassador stressed the importance of the agreement in supporting economic diversification, enhancing the competitiveness of national exports, and enabling the private sector to integrate into regional and global value chains, thereby contributing to achieving the targets of Oman Vision 2040.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Faisal bin Ali bin Zaher Al-Hanai, Deputy Head of the Oman Mission to the World Trade Organisation.
