Trilateral meeting between Oman, Qatar and Iran discusses Iran-US talks

On the sidelines of the 4th Tehran Dialogue Forum organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic or Iran, a closed meeting was held between Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi; Iranian Foreign Minister, Dr Abbas Araghchi, and Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.

The meeting discussed the latest developments in the Iranian-American talks within the framework of Oman's mediation.

Oman's Foreign Minister and his Iranian counterpart welcomed the Qatari initiative to hold this constructive meeting and consult on ways to support and advance dialogue and bring perspectives closer, with the aim of reaching an understanding that leads to the desired agreement between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran that would contribute to strengthening the foundations of regional and international security and stability.
